Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (800-457-4779), through a franchisee, plans to open Krispy Kreme doughnut shops throughout the Charleston area and the Lowlands region of SC. The company recently sold an existing corporate store located along Savannah Highway in Charleston, SC to the franchisee. The company currently operates 560 units nationwide and internationally.
